Clear roof marquees can become hot during the summer months.
We recommend using a clear roof over the dance or “chill-out” area of the marquee which is usually in use later in the day when temperatures are much lower. By using a lining over the dining area, this provides the much needed shade during the period of the event guests are sat at dining tables.
Another recommendation we make is to use our clear panoramic windows around the perimeter of the marquee. These windows can be opened up completely and we recommend doing this as early as possible if the weather is looking very hot. This will allow the heat to disperse from the structure prior to guests arrival.
We can supply a member of our team to be onsite to take care of the duty along with other marquee related duties they might be required for. -
Yes, if you have decided to use our clear panoramic window walls, these can be opened up completely. This allows you to make use of the venue grounds or garden on a nice day.

No, you can choose the number or clear panels that are installed in your structure. We can provide a number of lining solutions to work seamlessly with our clear roofs. A lining over the dining area will provide shade on a very hot sunny day.
The clear roof panels can either be installed at one end of the marquee with a clear gable or alternatively the roof can be installed centrally with linings either side.

Yes, of course! Foliage and flowers can both be installed in the roof of our clear roof structures. As you will see in a number of our gallery images, foliage can provide an amazing effect in a clear roof marquee. It can also act as a solution for shading guests from the sun during the summer months.
The beauty of our clear roof marquees is the access to our 4 channel roof beams. This allows us to supply kader clamps on each of the a-frames to provide hanging points to the florists. We are also able to provide a wire grid system to offer a more comprehensive hanging solution.

Our clear roof structures are no more noisy then a standard white PVC roof. The very slight flexibility in the PVC means it is actually quieter than say a glass conservatory roof.

THE “WOW” FACTOR
If you want to wow your guests with a marquee they would never have dreamed possible then add some clear roof panels. They work especially well if you have a stunning landscape or property that you want to be visible during your event. A lot of our clients say that they want to feel like they are outside, but with the protection of a roof in case of inclement weather. The clear roof panels are the perfect solution as they bring the outside in. It works especially well to position the clear panels over the dance floor area as it gives great views for your guests and if it’s a clear night your guests will find themselves dancing under the stars!
THE TECHNOLOGY
To manufacture one of our clear roofs we actually start with a standard white PVC roof, into which we weld the clear panels, the white PVC is then cut out and used for other jobs. This ensures that the roof is exactly the right size and perfectly square as the clear PVC has no supporting cloth in it, and can warp with temperature variation. This means all our roofs pull nice and tight under tension and have no unsightly wrinkles, giving you an amazing glass roof effect for your event.
MAINTANANCE
To make sure the roofs stay crystal clear and look brand new every time they are used; they are cleaned and thoroughly dried after every use, and always carefully rolled and wrapped in carpet when they are stored in our warehouse. We also renew our clear PVC roofs frequently to ensure we are providing the same high quality premium product.
